摘要：《金瓶梅》历代遭禁的根本原因,并非仅仅因为其中少量男女床笫呈欢的秽亵描写,而是因为整部小说对于真实中国社会情势的暴露式呈现,以及某种程度上构成的对正统官方主流价值观念的颠覆。具体而论,一是对于盛行于官场的潜规则操作的生动具体描写,由此解构了统治阶层一贯掌控道德话语权的神圣优越感;二是对于盛行于民间乃至官衙的江湖化的混世描写,揭开了天子治下黎民苍生仕农兵商各个阶层真实秩序的紊乱与昏暗,大大动摇了皇权体制的统治自信;三是真实呈现了无论底层小民抑或上层高官,伴随出入体制内外不同,则相应自然变换使用不同价值的话语体系,目的只为无论是借助体制还是忽视体制,最终只要能够谋获一己之私利,而遑顾是否真正奉行体制内的正统道德准则,由此造就了全体社会成员的知行二分直至道德虚伪。历代最高统治者对于《金瓶梅》暴露式文本所呈现出来的事实上已经弥漫于整个国度的以上三点社会症候心存焦虑但又徒唤无奈,只能采取国家行政手段对载有这些症候的文本予以禁毁并阻止其继续传播,以防止其造成更大或更进一步的思想混乱而不利于其统治。

Abstract：The reason why Jin Ping Mei was banned in the past dynasties was not just because it contained some sexual descriptions, but because it depicted the real picture of the society and was against the mainstream values. Specifically speaking, the vivid description of the unspoken rules prevailing in the official circle deconstructed the superiority of the ruling class; the description of the chaos prevailing among the people and in the government agencies exposed the disorder and darkness of the whole society; the real presentation of different discourse systems used by the common people or top officials revealed the moral hypocrisy of all members in the society. The rulers were worried about the problems revealed by Jin Ping Mei, but could not solve them, so they could only ban the book and prevent its spreading, preventing greater or further ideological confusion to weaken their rule.
