西昆仑西段温泉沟组浅变质地层中的笔石动物群

摘要:在西昆仑西段塔什库尔干东南发育一套遭受浅变质的沉积地层,对该套地层形成时代的确定目前尚缺乏足够的化石依据.本次工作在达布达尔乡沙依地库拉沟该套地层中首次发现了大量保存较完整的笔石化石,经鉴定,主要分子有Monograptus xizangensis,Pristiograptuselegans,Demirastrites raitzhainiensis,Oktavites planus,Rastrites hybridus,Diplograptus cartatus,Glyptograptus gracilis,Climacograptus bidongensis等8属20种,且均为早志留世早中期分子,它可为该套地层时代的确定提供确切的化石依据.

A graptolite fossil fauna in low-grade metamorphosed Wenquangou formation in western West Kunlun

Abstract:A low-grade metamorphosed rock series is formed in southeastern Taxkorgan, western West Kunlun, northwest China, whose age is under debate due to lack of sufficient fossil evidence.In the paper, a plenty of graptolite fossils are collected in a carbon-bearing slate at Daptar area.The fossil fauna mainly includes: Monograptus xizangensis, Pristiograptus elegans, Demirastrites raitzhainiensis, Oktavites planus, Rastrites hybridus, Diplograptus cartatus, Glyptograptus gracilis, Climacograptus bidongensis, etc.These fossils are all in early-middle Early Silurian, which provide exclusive evidence for the age determination of Wenquangou formation.
