Abstract：Henei area in Han Dynasty was an important customs district in our country.Toughness, bullying, mercenary, prevailing of Fangshu were the characteristics of the customs in Henei area.The formation of these customs was influenced by the history and natural environment.From the view of historical development, the cultures of Shang Dynasty, Wei Dynasty and Spring and Autumn Period were the crucial stage for the development of these customs.From the view of natural environment, the terrain and landforms, agricultural cultivation environment and the traffic situation in Henei area had a close relationship with these customs.
