实现虹吸过程的条件

摘要:虹吸是常见的一种流体力学现象,即液体在液面压力(通常就是大气压力)的作用下升高到曲管的最高点,而后在重力的作用下流到比原来液面更低的地方.尽管液面压力与虹吸流量无关,但却是虹吸作用发生的必要条件.《辞海》的释文"即使两贮水器液面为真空,虹吸现象也能实现"是错误的.讨论了曲管两侧的长度对虹吸的发生以及流量大小的影响,并介绍了利用虹吸制作的"戒贪杯".

Study on the condition of the siphonage

Abstract:Siphonage is a phenomenon of liquid flowing to a low level through a bent or curved tube of which the top is higher than the liquid surface.Although the pressure on the liquid surface is no matter with the velocity of siphonage flow, it is the necessary condition of the siphonage.The explanation in Cihai dictionary is mistake of "siphonage will happen even if the two water tanks are in the vacuum".The influence of the bent tube length on the siphonage and its flow velocity was discussed, and a cup with a siphon to warn insatiability was introduced.
