Accumulation characteristics and sources analysis of heavy metals intopsoil of Tengzhou

Abstract:In order to understand the contamination and sources of heavy metals in the surface of Tengzhou area ,the contents of As,Cd,Cr,Cu,Hg,Ni, Pb and Zn in the soil of Tengzhou area were studied. On the basis of normal and log-normal analysis of deep and surface soil samples data. Al2O3 was selected as the reference index to obtain the background value of heavy metals, and the enrichment factors of soil heavy metals in the study area were counted to evaluate the heavy metal pollution level in the study area. Based on Pearson correlation analysis and factor analysis of soil heavy metal data, the pollution sources of heavy metals were analyzed. The results showed that the pollution grade of heavy metals in the topsoil was mostly non-polluted and slightly polluted ,while Hg and Cd were moderately polluted in some areas, among which Hg was even seriously polluted. Heavy metal pollution had reached moderate level and above, which mainly distributed in the central, southern and southeastern regions. The distribution of point pollution in the study area was relatively prominent, and the pollution level along the traffic was relatively high. The heavy metals in the topsoil of the study area mainly originated from natural soil-forming evolution factors and human-induced pollution factors such as transportation ,chemical fertilizers and pesticides, industrial and mining sewage.
