Abstract:Based on daily AQI and major pollutants data in 18 cities in Henan Province between March 2015 and February 2016, the characteristics of primary air pollutants composition and its change process were investigated on yearly and seasonal scale, and the spatial correlation model was clarified by cluster analysis and spatial autocorrelation method. The results showed that PM2.5 was the most common primary pollutant in Henan Province from 2015 to 2016, but the numbers of its occurence days decreased, and the occurrence days of O3 increased greatly. Composition of air pollutants varied extremely in different seasons. The number of occurrence days of PM2.5 as the major pollutant increased and the types of air primary pollutants decreased in winter, while the occurrence days of O3 as the major pollutant in spring, summer and autumn increased, especially in summer and autumn. The number of days of air pollution and the main pollutants in Henan Province showed a certain agglomeration characteristics in space, and the agglomeration areas varied significantly with time. Under the influence of social economy and natural conditions, the urban primary air pollutants in Henan Province could be divided into five categories. These findings could provide useful references for making scientific and efficient joint prevention and control strategies and classified governance decision.
