Abstract: [Objective] In order to solve the problems of concentrated stress in surrounding rock, cumbersome advanced support process and poor support effect, and slow progress of the working face in the advanced support area of the mining roadway of the three soft and thick coal seam fully mechanized coal seams. [Methods] Based on the background of the belt transportation roadway of the 12203 working face of Zhaojiazhai Coal Mine, the influencing factors of the stress concentration of the surrounding rock in the advanced support area of the mining roadway

of the working face were analyzed by numerical simulation, and the research on the optimal roofing scheme and the reinforcement support scheme of the advanced anchor cable was carried

out. [Results] The results show that the superposition of the forward and lateral support pressures of the working face and the lateral support pressure formed by the excavation of the mining roadway has a significant impact on the stress concentration of the surrounding rock in the advanced support area of the mining roadway. Numerical simulation proves that "roof cutting" can effectively alleviate the stress concentration of surrounding rock in the advanced support area of the mining roadway from three aspects: stress transfer of surrounding rock in the mining roadway, changing the stope load distribution method, and pressure relief.Finally, it was determined that the topping angle of 10°and the topping depth of 18m was the best scheme, at the same time, the best reinforcement support scheme for the advanced anchor cable is clarified. The industrial test was carried out in the belt transportation roadway of the 12203 working face of Zhaojiazhai Coal Mine, which effectively reduced the stress of the surrounding rock of the mining roadway, canceled the advanced passive support of the mining roadway of the working face,and ensured the normal operation of the roadway. [Conclusion] The advanced "unloading-supporting" collaborative surrounding rock control technology of the mining roadway can effectively relieve pressure and strengthen the support, ensure the safety and stability of the mining roadway, and ensure the safe and rapid mining of the working face.
