Design of coalbed methane digital management system based on MapInfo

Abstract：The design and realization of the coalbed methane digital management system by the MapInfo and Visual Basic 6.0 is introduced.The author first combines requirements and feasibility of coal seam mining and coalbed methane (CBM) exploration in Jincheng Anthracite Mining Group (JAMG) .Then, analyzes and designs basic function from user perspective.And then, determines the system development plan, establishes database.Finally, detailedly introduces the realization process of software function according to system design with Visual Basic 6.0.Main functions of system include data compilation, data editing, data processing, and data management, geological map editing, drilling columnar diagram management, automatic forming isoline, etc.
