Abstract：Traditional translation teaching, focusing more on knowledge but less on skills, hinders the students' development and has some problems. This study introduces the student-centered cooperative learning into translation teaching and discusses its feasibility and validity according to the data analyzed by SPSS17. 0. The results indicate that it is feasible to apply this model into translation teaching. It can greatly improve students' achievements and interaction capacity; moreover, it can enhance the students' interest in translation.
