Abstract：Historical nihilism has immeasurable adverse effects on college students' establishing a scientific view of history and value and the fundamental task of moral education in higher education in China is facing these severe challenges. Based on the accurate understanding of the adverse effects of historical nihilism on college students, this paper explores the main media and channels for its spreading, that is, the mass media and interpersonal communication, and finds out the effective measures to clear up the adverse effects, safeguarding the ideological work of the universities and colleges.
