城市排水污泥好氧堆肥过程中甲基汞的生成与降解研究

摘要:为研究甲基汞在堆肥过程中的生成与降解机理,采用强制通风静态垛堆肥方式,在不同处理条件下开展城市污泥好氧堆肥试验。试验结果发现,堆肥过程中,堆体内氧气含量呈现先降低后升高的趋势,甲基汞含量呈现先增加后降低的趋势,堆肥过程中厌氧程度的加强以及水溶性硫酸盐含量的升高均能够促进甲基汞的生成。总体上看,堆肥产品中的甲基汞含量在1.21~2.25 ng/g,为初始堆肥物料中甲基汞含量的4~10倍。本研究表明,城市污泥堆肥处理可能导致甲基汞在土地应用中的暴露水平升高,应该慎重评估其生态风险,在污泥堆肥过程中应该通过优化通风策略、延长稳定化阶段等方法抑制堆肥过程中甲基汞的生成。

Abstract:In order to investigate the mechanisms of methylmercury (Me Hg) formation and degradation during aerobic composting of sewage sludge, the static forced-aeration composting experiments under different treatment conditions were carried out.The results show that contents of oxygen decreased firstly and then increased during the composing process, whereas contents of Me Hg rose up at first and dropped subsequently.The enhancement of anaerobic conditions and higher soluble sulfate could stimulate the formation of Me Hg.In general, the content of Me Hg in the composting product was between 1.212.25 ng/g, which was around 410 times as it in the raw material.Thus, the exposure level of Me Hg in land use may be increased after the treatment of municipal sewage sludge compost, and the ecological risk induced by Me Hg should be carefully assessed when applying sewage sludge compost to farmland.Mitigation measures such as optimizing ventilation strategy and extending the stabilization period would be applied for inhibiting the formation of Me Hg.
