Abstract：Alienation is the inevitable problem in the development of modern society, Fromm's and Baudrillard's theories of alienation are academic issues in the modern and contemporary research, and on the basis of Marx's alienation theory, both criticized the western society from different perspectives.Fromm's and Baudrillard's theories of alienation differ from each other in such aspects as perspective, understanding of the subjective initiative and various forms in different domains.
