Abstract：There are a certain amount of perilous rocks in Yuntaishan scenic region.Their occurrences are caused by the complicated geological conditions and the combined impact of tectonic activity,geologic agent and human activities.The paper analyses the forming reasons of perilous rocks based on the features and distribution of perilous rocks in Hongshixia spot,Ravine spot,Zhuyu peak spot and tourism lines of Yuntaishan scenic region.It turns out that the perilous rocks in Hongshixia spot is mainly toppling perilous rock under tension-shear,falling perilous rock under tension with the influence of the faults and human activities,structure activity and weathering geologic agent cause the forming of perilous rocks in the Ravine spot,dangerous rocks in the Cornel Peak spot and tourism lines is mainly the human activity.Furthermore,the paper puts forward the corresponding comprehensive treatments.Among the treatments,passive safety netting system can be used in the Ravine spot,and the treatments of active protections can mainly be used in other spots.
