辅助文字对安全标志识别性影响的眼动研究

摘要:为研究辅助文字对安全标志识别性的影响,将安全标志图片作为视觉刺激材料,辅助文字作为控制因素,通过EyelinkⅡ型眼动仪记录了10名被试者识别8个安全标志时的平均眼跳幅度和平均注视时间等实验数据,通过统计学方法进行分析表明,平均眼跳幅度和平均注视时间可以作为定量测量被试者视觉认知负荷的评价指标,进而评价安全标志识别难度,论证了将眼动技术引入安全标志识别性研究的意义和可行性;辅助文字对平均眼跳幅度和平均注视时间等眼动数据有显著影响;添加辅助文字有助于降低视觉认知负荷,降低安全标志的识别难度.

Abstract:In order to research the influence of auxiliary words on safety signs' recognition, Eyelink Ⅱ eye tracker was used to record the experimental data for average saccade amplitude and average fixation duration, in the case of the safety signs' images as a stimulant and the auxiliary words as the controlling factor. The relative data of 8 safety signs were recorded via Eyelink Ⅱ and were analyzed via the statistics method of 10 participants. The results show that: both average saccade amplitude and average fixation duration can be used as quantitative measurements to the visual cognitive workload and as an assessment criteria for the difficulty of safety signs' recognition, and the significance and feasibility of applying eye movement technique to the study of safety signs' recognition were analyzed; the average saccade amplitude and average fixation duration were significantly affected by auxiliary words; adding auxiliary words could reduce visual cognitive workload as well as the difficulty of identifying safety signs.
