Study on simulation technology for soft rock tunnels

Abstract：Soft rock tunnels have the characteristics of high ground pressure and large deformation and are difficult to be supported.So they can not be easily controlled with single support method.By studying the deformation mechanism and damage procedure of the enclosing rocks, a numerical calculation mechanical model has been created by utilizing RFPA software, which can be used to simulate the deformation and damage of enclosing rocks.The simulation analysis on deformation and damage of soft rock tunnel and the transfer procedure of terrestrial stress can be scientific bases for the design of tunnel support.
