Study on integrating modes of GIS with urban environmental models

Abstract：Taking Geographic Information System (GIS) as an urban environmental modelling framework allows modellers to use database, data visualization, and analytical tools in a single integrated environment. It has analysed the different modes of GIS with urban environmental models and discussed the advantages and disadvantages of the methods.Some proposals to built Urban Geographic Information System have been presented.
