Abstract：A large number of new Chinese neologisms have sprung up since China's reform and opening.It is of vital importance to t translate these neologisms into Japanese faithfully and idiomatically so as to help the international community gain a timely and objective understanding of the epoch-making development in China and extending her influence on the outside world.With some exact examples, the paper analyzes the resources of neologisms and points out the problems in the translations of neologisms;Meanwhile, it puts forward seven methods of translating Chinese neologisms into japanese.
