Abstract：Legend is people's language art and flowing literature.Rapid spreading is its fundamental feature as well as its unique way of constantly updating and developing.In the process of spreading, it brings into full play of the rich performance and generalization of folk language.“In accordance with the aesthetic laws, ” through the “rationalized” process, amendments and supplements, legend creates the magnificent imaginary world and the artistic image to reflect the people's rational knowledge of life and aesthetic taste.Lively language forms and transmission mechanims make it naturally rich in the forms, contents and functions.
