Abstract:AmboraneAB is considered as one of the ideal hydrogen storage materials because of its high hydrogen storage capacity.Howeverits hydrogen production performance under mild conditions still needs to be improvedso the development of catalysts to accelerate the hydrolysis process is very important. In order to develop catalysts with high activity and stability for AB hydrolysisthe latest advances in non-noble metal-based catalysts were summarizedincluding pure metalsmetal compoundsboridesphosphatesoxides),metal/metal compoundsect. In this paperthe development of catalyststhe preparation methods of different catalysts and the effects of different regulation methodsthe microstructuresspecific surface areasparticle sizespHdifferent componentsligands and supports on the catalytic activity and stability of catalysts were summarized. At the same timesome challengessuch as the unclear catalytic mechanismthe poor stabilitythe difficult reusability of ABetc. faced by non-noble metal based catalysts for hydrogen production were discussedand the direction of future efforts was proposed according to the existing research.

Key words:ammonia borane;non-noble metal based materials;catalystic activity;stability;catalytic mechanism
