Abstract:Land subsidence and its related hazards have become one of the major geological disasters in most cities of China. Long-term and dynamic monitoring of land subsidence is crucial for urban wisdom construction, management, and maintenance of urban sustainable development. It is also an important guarantee for preventing and early warning of the potential occurrence of urban geological disasters. PSInSAR is a powerful tool to obtain small-magnitude deformation in experimental area by using two-dimensional linear( or nonlinear) phase regression analysis for differential interferometric phase at persistent scatters. PSInSAR has ability to correct mutiple phase error due to phase decorrelations in temporal and spatial domain and various atmospheric phase delay in multiple interferograms. PSInSAR method and phase composition were applied, and Anyang City in Henan Province was taken as experimental area. Eleven SAR images acquired by ENVISAT/ASAR from March 2008 to December 2009 were used to derive subsidence in Anyang City. Significant subsidence signals in Anyang urban district and suburban area are obtained. Subsidence fields in Anyang urban district due to over-exploitation of groundwater were Longan, Yindou, Beiguan and Wenfeng districts. The largest subsidence rate was - 38 mm/a in Wenfeng district. Subsidence fields in Anyang suburban district due to mining was Shuiye town. The largest subsidence rate was - 32 mm/a in Shuiye town.
