Study on the characteristics of impact crushing of bedding ore aftermicrowave heating

Abstract:In order to study the impact crushing characteristics of bedding ore after microwave heating, the impact crushing tests of the ore-bearing ore were carried out by using the drop hammer impact crushing system, microwave heating equipment and high-speed photography technology. The influence of the bedding dip angle on the dynamic strength of the ore was systematically studied, and the mechanical properties of bedded ore irradiated by microwave were analyzed. The results showed that the ore dynamic strength decreased gradually when the bedding angle was between 100 and 60°. When the bedding angle was between 600 and 900 , the ore dynamic strength increased gradually. At the same bedding dip angle, the strength of microwave-heated ore was significantly lower than that of non-microwave-irradiated ore, and the ore anisotropy ratio slightly increased. When the bedding dip angle was 60° , the ore dynamic strength was the smallest in both cases, which indicated that the failure of ore along the bedding plane was dominated by shear stress. The research results could provide some reference value for the design of relevant process flow of the selected crushing bedding ore.
