Abstract:In order to study the seismic performance of the brace-semi-rigid steel frame structure system, a centerally braced steel frame with semi-rigid beam-column joints composed of nested one-side bolts and T-stub was designed, and the quasi-static test. Combined with the failure mode of the specimen, its hysteretic performance, bearing capacity, energy dissipation and other seismic indicators are analyzed. The results show that: The failure mode of the specimen is mainly buckling failure of the brace under compression, which shows the characteristics of ductile failure as a whole. The plastic deformation is mainly accumulated on the brace system, and the beam-column and T-stub joints have no obvious plastic deformation,After the brace is broken, the semi-steel frame still has higher bearing capacity, indicating that the structure have two seismic fortification lines. The cooperative work of brace and semi-rigid frame makes the specimen have higher lateral stiffness, resistance to horizontal deformation, higher bearing capacity, stable hysteretic performance and excellent energy dissipation capacity. The mechanical performance of the one-side bolts during the test is not significantly different from that of ordinary high-strength bolts. There is no serious preload relaxation phenomenon, and the bolt preload can be maintained efficiently.
