Abstract：In order to solve topological relations between the uncertainty of area entity and certain line entity, it uses Rough set theory and 9-intersectional model to research topological relations of them.It is divided into the19 cases that are compared with those without considering the uncertainty of area entities, and it is verified with an example.The results show that because of the uncertainty of the area entity, the topological relation is more comprehensive, it can take full account of changes in the objective reality.The research perfects the existing topological relations.
