莫里哀喜剧与晚清文人的域外文化认知

摘要:莫里哀喜剧伴随着晚清文人"睁眼看世界"的过程逐渐进入中国文化视域。作为晚清外交官,陈季同著述了大量的法文作品,寻找莫里哀喜剧与中国戏剧传统的文化共通性,引导西方读者相对宽容地理解中国文化。曾朴对于莫里哀喜剧的评价,一方面受到其法国文学启蒙导师陈季同的影响,另一方面兼有历史考据和文学想象的成分。

Abstract:In the process of “open eyes to see the world”of intellectuals in the late Qing dynasty, Moliere's comedy accompanied by their western cultural cognition had gradually come into the sight of the observation. As a diplomat of the late Qing dynasty, Chen Jitong sought the similarities between Chinese cultural tradition and French culture in his French works, which led the western readers in the late nineteenth century to understand Chinese culture more closely. Although Zeng Pu has never been abroad and his evaluation of Moliere's comedy was affected by Chen Jitong who was his French literary enlightenment mentor, his foreign cognition including historical textual research and literary imagination elements was unique in inheriting and reporting ways.
