铣削稳定性预测的时间有限元法

摘要:为减小切削颤振对加工的影响,提出一种时间有限元预测法来预测铣削稳定性。将动态切削颤振模型简化为一阶时滞微分方程组,基于时间有限元法及Floquet原理预测动态铣削过程的稳定性极限。对该方法的预测值与Insperger提出的时域半离散法的预测值进行比较可知,该方法能有效地预测动态铣削稳定性,并利用一组实验证实了该方法的正确性。采用该方法选择铣削参数可以有效降低切削颤振对加工过程的影响,对提高铣削加工效率和加工质量有重要意义。

Abstract:In order to reduce the effect of the chatter on the machining process,a new stability lobes prediction method is presents using time finitee lement(TFE) theory focusing on the chatter in machining process.The dynamic machining process is modeled as a first order delay differential system.Using this mathematical model,the stability lobes are predicted based on the TFE method and Floquet theory.Afterwards,the comparison between the methods and literature is conducted,the results show that the proposed method can predict stability limit with high accuracy.Finally,one experiment is chosen to verify the validity of the stability limit prediction with high accuracy,milling parameters optimization can be conducted using the stability limit and this is significance for improving the machining efficiency and workpiece quality.
