Study on the Charactersitics and Exploitation of Coalbed Methane in Jiaozuo

Abstract：Coal bed gas is an important energy ore, which should be have a close attention and needs to be reconnoitried and developed quickly, also it is the scarce and strategic energy of our country.By the study of geological condition, resource characteristic and method of development and utilization, the author thinks that the coal field in Jiaozuo possesses the geological conditions to exploit and compose coal bed gas.The sthone charcoal stratum and permian system which contain coal, is in large area of Jiaozuo coal field, and coal seams comparatively stable and large in reseves.Therefore, there are abundant coal bed gas resources in the mining area of Jiaozuo which is relatively higher in the saturation degree and penetrance of coal seam, highly density of resoures, and is helpful for coal bed gas utilization.The development of the coal bed gas of the mining area in Jiaozuo has the significance of improving the structure of energy supply, resources utilization ration and ecological environment protection in Jiaozuo.
