Application of Downhole Imaging Technique in the Fields of Oil Exploration and Development

Abstract：Downhole imaging is a more advanced ultrasonic technique applied in the petroleum industry at present, which can be used to objectively and truly evaluata the conditions of reservoirs and casings.Results of the measurement processed by the computer are accurate and reliable, and also helpful to petroleum engineers to make effective decisions for operation.In recent years, this technology has been developing rapidly in our country with good results.The applications of this technology has been introduced.
