Abstract：The party's vitality lies in the party's progressiveness and purity. Undergraduate CPC members, an important part of the party, are the main force of party building and socialist construction with Chinese characteristics. However, swift changes of domestic and international situation have made a significant influence on college students' ideology and orientation of conduct. Problems among undergraduate CPC members, such as diversified motivation to join the party, vague faith, weakened service awareness, lack of discipline and awareness of playing the pioneering pole, low self-request standard, will definitely undermine our party's progressiveness and purity. This paper first investigates problems existing in college party building, then analyzes the underlying factors, and puts forward corresponding countermeasures to preserve undergraduate CPC members' progressiveness and purity.
