Abstract：On the platform of Henan Social Science Planning Project, we carried out an explorative practice of career development planning among young librarians in Henan Polytechnic University Library.Through questionnaire surveys in the initial and middle phase, young librarians were encouraged to establish 3-year career development goals, design development routes and make annual reflection. In addition, we built an archival system and strengthened the organizational support. The 2-year explorative practice has yielded a good result and a wealth of practical experience obtained may provide some preference for future studies in this field.
