Abstract：In view of the outstanding historical values of Chen Shuming's Epitaph, we compared it with The Collection of Interpretation of Epitaphs in Chinese Han Wei Southern and Northern Dynasties, The Collection of Epitaphs in Sui Dynasty, The Biography in Epitaph of Sui Dynasty, and Supplement to Articles of Sui Dynasty in terms of model of written characters and diction, then supplemented the missing documents and comments, and interpreted the obscure characters and sentences of the epitaph.
