Abstract：According to Skopos theory, the purpose of the international publicity translation of Taijiquan is to publicize its basic theories and fighting skills together with the traditional culture implying in it.But the communication of the international publicity translation has to face the problems of lack of counterparts, Wushu philosophy, cultural difference between east and west, semantic fuzziness, strong literary flavour and low normalization, etc.may severely hinder the process.To promote the internationalization of Taijiquan, translators should improve their literary accomplishments, choose proper translation methods, preserve national characteristics, provide understandable and acceptable versions and contribute to normalization of Taijiquan translation.
