Abstract：Nine cities of city group in central plain were used as regional study units, the paper analyzes the difference of tourism economy development in different cities from 2003-2008, the results indicate great disparity.Although the relative disparity is becoming smaller, the absolute disparity is becoming larger.By using the gradient promotion strategy, the nine cities were classified into three degrees in the tourism economy.Thus, the factors influencing the tourism economy was interpreted and some countermeasures promoting the integrated development of the tourism for the city group of Central plain agglomeration were put forward.
