Abstract：As a carrier to pass down our lofty ideals, the ideological and political education has made great achievement in the course of development. However, there are also unhealthy ideas in traditional education and it is necessary to“destroying the old”. At the same time, we have to“establish the new”, that is to say, we must adhere to people-centered education and take high moral value establishment and people cultivation as the fundamental task of education. Thus, a new concept of ideological and political education in colleges in the new period will be constructed, promoting ideological and political education to achieve new progress and new situation.
