On the main theories in the19th International Meeting of Communist and Workers’ Parties

Abstract：The 19 th International Meeting of Communist and Workers' Parties, hosted by the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, was held in St. Petersburg from November 2 th to 3 th, 2017. The theme of this meeting is “the 100 th Anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution: the ideals of the Communist Movement, revitalizing the struggles against imperialistic wars and for peace and socialism”. The delegates had a full discussion on the great significance and historical experience of the October Revolution, the cause of the failure of the Soviet Union and the socialist countries in Eastern Europe, and the current status of capitalism. They also exchanged their own struggle tactics and confirmed the common action plan. The delegates unanimously adopted the joint document “Appeal”, signed seven resolutions selectively, and decided that the 20 th International Meeting of Communist and Workers' Parties would be hosted by the Communist Party of Greek.
