Abstract: Coal and gas outburst simulation experiment is one of the important means to investigate the laws, characters and mechanism of outburst. To clarify the research context of outburst simulation experiment and the development trend in future,systematic summary and in-depth analysis for physical simulation investigated by most researchers,which concluded preparation method and device of coal samples,adsorbed gas species,stress loading system,outburst induction device,data acquisition system,were proposed in this paper. Taking stress dimension member as a classification standard,research works on numerical simulations were presented in detail. Finally,it could be got by analysis that research and development of new simulation devices,data acquisition units,similar materials and outstanding numerical simulations considering multiple software coupling would be the key points for further research.
