The basic characters and scientific value of geogical vestiges in Yuntaishan world geo-park

Abstract：China Yuntaishan world geo-park, one of the first group of world geo-parks authorized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, has a series of geogical vestiges which are of special scientific significance and aesthetic value, and represent the geological history and processes in this area.The park is mainly characterized by the rift valley structure, hydrodynamic force and geological landscape, and supplemented by the natural ecology and humanitic landscape.It is a structure-type geo-park of great aesthetic value and scientific value with geogical vestiges, landscapes as its primary part.In this paper, the characters and geogical vestiges of Yuntaishan world geo-park were given detailed analysises.
