Abstract：Fruitful as the concern and studies on time narrative of Milan Kundera's works in domestic and foreign academic circles, few are done from the perspective of space narrative. The space narrative in Milan Kundera's new novel, The Festival of Insignificance, is so unique that this study first focuses on the methods, classifications, and functions of space narrative. Its functions are discussed in relation to narrative perspective, story plot as well as themes. The findings will help readers to comprehend the novel's theme better and enjoy the magic power of Milan Kundera's space narrative as well.
