Abstract:To investigate the structure characteristics of No. 3 〜No. 5 coal seam and the corresponding logging curves identification method of Tashan mine of Datong coalfield, the data of more than 50 boreholes and logging results of Tashan coal mine was taken as the reasearch basis. Through the combination of logging curve interpretation ,structural index of structural coal body and calculation of primary coal proportion, the qualitative and quantitative analysis of structural coal development characteristics was carried out, and the plane distribution pattern of structural coal of Tashan mine was drawn. The results showed that : The No. 3 〜No. 5 coal seam of Tashan mine were characterized by high resistivity, high acoustic time difference, high borehole diameter, low natural gamma ray and low density on logging curves ; There were four kinds of structural coal in coal seam, including primary coal, fractured coal, fractured-fragmented coal and fragmented-mylonite coal, and the corresponding coal structure index were 29.4 ,69.2 ,70.4 , and 76.7 , respectively ; The overall development of structural coal was characterized by “ middle structural coal development, primary coal development around, mainly cataclastic coal and clastic-mylonitic coal development” , and the development regularity was strictly controlled by the structure distribution characteristics of the study area.
