Surrounding rock failure characteristics and strong anchorage control technology ofcoal roadway in deep mine

Abstract:In Zhaogu No. 1 coal mine the surrounding rock of the north wing return air roadway is seriously jointed. Influenced by mining abutment pressure the occurrence of mining pressure is severe which shows that the two walls of roadway convergence seriously the floor heave is serious and the roadway support system is invalid. Theu three stress fields“ distribution of original rock stress field mining stress field and support stress field were put forward with numerical simulation which was the basis of high strength support for this roadway. Based on control mechanism of surrounding rock in roadway of reconstructed bearing layer the surrounding rock control scheme of“ anchor mesh cable + shotcreting + grouting + birdcage anchor cable + reinforcement anchor cable“ in north wing roadway was put forward. The deformation plastic zone evolution supporting stress and principle stress difference of surrounding rock under different supporting pressures were studied by numerical simulation. The results showed that with the increase of supporting pressure concentration coefficient the reduction rate of roadway section increased gradually and the surrounding rock mass decreased. The plastic zone changed from arch shape to butterfly shape crab shape and tortoise shape the anchor cable would gradually fail under the action of high bearing pressure and the main stress difference will present multi peak phenomenon. Engineering practice showed that the proposed strong anchoring support technology could effectively control the deformation and failure of surrounding rock which had better technical and economic rationality.
