Abstract:The six-pulse double-variable AC-AC frequency converter has poor symmetry and high harmonic content in the high frequency range ( above 25 Hz ),which easily leads to the vibration of motor speed and torque in the process of speed regulation. In order to solve this problem, based on the bivariate cosine intercept method, the high frequency waveform symmetry was promoted and output waveform of the inverter in high frequency band could be optimized. At the same time, switching between the frequency in high frequency band was also researched, which made switching between the spectrum smoother,so as to enhance the range of frequency conversion speed regulation and speed control performance of the six-pulse double-variable converter. Finally, through simulation and experiment, the feasibility of continuous frequency conversion speed regulation mode in high frequency band of six-pulse double-variable AC-AC converter was verified.
