Abstract:Abstract: In order to determine the reasonable yielding space of composite steel frame to control the deformation of deep surrounding rock and improve the mechanization construction of roadway , on basis of the construction of 11071 working face in Zhaogu second coal mine , six support plans were simulated and calculated by using three-dimension finite difference software. The results showed that : More obviously the surrounding rock stability of deep roadway were influenced by local yield effect. The phenomenon of stress concentration occurred at the vault , surface and the junction of two sides and floor in roadway. The rock mass failure is dominated by shear failure. According to the numerical simulation , the optimum yielding space of composite steel frame maintained by improving the state of stress ,restricting its displacement and reducing the plastic failure area of surrounding rock made for stability of rock mass.
