Abstract:To research the gob-side entry retaining mining technology under special geological conditions such as large buried depth high stress and hard roof taking the 1604 fully mechanized working face of Guhanshan coal mine of Henan Coal Energy Co. Ltd.as the engineering geological background based on the combination of theoretical analysis and numerical simulation the movement law of gateway roof was studied the key parameters of gob-side entry retaining were determined and the engineering test was carried out on site. The results showed that The directional presplitting blasting could block the stress transmission of the basic rock above the gateway and goaf and achieved the purpose of pressure relief and presplitting When the cutting height was 12.3 m the lower key strata could be cut off The average roof subsidence of gob-side entry retaining was 256 mm the average wall displacement of goaf was 214 mm and the surrounding rock of gob-side entry retaining tended to be stable after 110 m behind the working face which could meet the requirements of safety production. The research results could provide technical reference for gob-side entry retaining mining under similar geological conditions.
