Study on application of grey PID control theory in inverter

Abstract:The inverter is widely used in various fields,but due to the existence of a large number of nonlinear loads and time-varying parameters,the traditional PID control method is difficult to achieve the requirements when the system is disturbed. In recent years,the integrated control method of combining traditional PID with repetitive control or fuzzy control has the disadvantage of poor dynamic response. In order to improve the output voltage waveform and power quality, taken the single-phase full-bridge inverter as an example,a grey PID control method based on GM(0,N) model was proposed. The idea of combining grey control and PID control was adopted, by using the grey estimator to compensate the disturbance in advance,the purposes of restraining system disturbance and improving the power quality could be achieved on the basis of guaranteeing good dynamic performance of the inverter. The simulation results in MATLAB environment showed that the proposed control method was in good dynamic response performance and it could suppress external disturbances effectively and output high quality voltage waveform,meanwhile,it was endowed with strong robustness and environmental adaptability.
