Abstract：Based on the professional talent cultivation scheme, teaching works of Universities are carried out through courses teaching. Therefore, courses teachings determine on the quality of professional talent cultivation. Courses evaluation has practical significance on standardizing courses teaching and improving teaching level. Mining engineering specialty of Henan Polytechnic University is its traditional dominant specialty, which has an advanced professional talent cultivation scheme and a comprehensive teaching syllabus, it also has set up a system of teaching management and operation. Taken the main courses of mining engineering specialty as a case, the present paper evaluates whether or not courses teaching meets the requirement of professional talent cultivation, which can contribute to the steady increase in courses teaching effect and professional talent cultivation quality.
