Abstract：Shakespeare is an outstanding representative of Humanist Thought.In his sonnets, he opposes to abstinence and the mighty power of God.Instead, he is in favor of the earthly life, and speaks highly of human beings and humanity, which demonstrates the democratic spirits of humanism.Shakespeare's sonnets are neat and orderly in structure, pleasant to ears, and meaningful in the theme.Undoubtedly, Shakespeare's sonnets gain high position in British literature and the world literature.
