Abstract：In this paper, the author expounded the history of the Bildungsroman's development courses in Germany in the late 18th and early 19th centuries and analyzed the Bildungsroman's creative climax in England, America and France, then, discussed its hard developmental history and the formation of the basic characteristics and commented on some problems about the Bildungsroman, which offers some references for the study in this field.
