Abstract：The classical poetry is the most precious cultural heritage in chinese and west classical literature which includes the resplendent narrative poem, lyric poetry, the colorful standard Lü-poem and the free verse.From the aesthetic view of the strong emotion expressions, plentiful imagination, specific poetry rhetoric and the condensed words, the author analyzed the aesthetic features of the classical poetry and pointed out the differences between the classical poetry and the classical prose, novels, plays in the sense of the aesthetic, finally concluded that the classical poetry has more aesthetic value for appreciations.
