Abstract:The optimal adjustment of permanent basic farmland is of great significance for realizing arable land protection, intensive land use and guaranteeing national food security. In this study, a coupled coordination degree model based on the comprehensive quality of arable land and ecological security of the landscape was proposed to optimise the adjustment of permanent basic farmland in Qibin District of Hebi City. The results show that the areas with high levels of coupled coordination are mainly located in the Kaifa Zone, Dalaidian Town, Shifan Zone and Juqiao Town, with a spatial distribution of low in the west and high in the east. Based on the constraints of the delineation rules to optimally adjust the preliminary delineation results of the coupled coordination degree model, the permanent basic farmland delineation area in the study area was divided into the reserved area (6 387.35 hm2), the transferable area (5 473.07 hm2), the transfer out area (804.77 hm2) and the unsuitable transfer in area (988.12 hm2). The research method has improved the rationality and scientificity of the optimal adjustment of permanent basic farmland.
