Establishment and application of the diffusing model of SO₂air pollution to the urban area of Jiaozuo city

Abstract：Several often_used diffusing models of air pollution are analyzed. On the basis of the analysis of the pollution feature, the diffusing model of SO₂pollution applied to the air of the urban area of Jiaozuo City is set up. In the model, the contribution from area pollution sources are calculated by the background concentration, so the model was greatly simplified. The SO₂concentration from 1996 to 2000 is also calculated by this model. Compared with the monitored concentrations, it is found that the model can be used to predict the atmospheric environmental concentration better.
