Analogue simulation research of fully-mechanized caving in structurally complex thick coal seam

Abstract：With means of analog simulation experimentation, fully_mechanized caving in structurally complex seam with thick dirt band is analyzed based on site data in this paper, and the cavability of top coal with thick dirt band in fully mechanized caving face, the caving procedure and drawing law, the determination of critical thickness of the dirt band etc. are discussed. The influence of the movement of top_coal with dirt band on the top coal caving was proposed.
